To help with their rebrand, we were asked by Le Moana to completely rehaul the brand identity of their Measina Festival through the development of a new style guide, logo and website. A Wellington based Pasifika festival, Measina seeks to promote the arts amongst the Pasifika community in Porirua whilst also providing a platform for emerging Pasifika artists to showcase their works.

They wanted to develop an aesthetic similar to that of their parent company Le Moana (another project of ours), but with its own unique sense of style. In summary, it needed to have a sleek Pasifika feel that captured the essence of this new young and upcoming generation of Pasifika artists. They were also in need of collateral and online content to help promote the festival, which resulted in us creating promotional posters, bus wraps, and online content. We attended rehearsals to capture artists in their element and the resulting photos/videos were later developed into physical posters and IG reels. The feeling we wanted to create was one that was raw and authentic to parallel the fact that the works being shown were still in development.
